ASUS NX1001 and a random question

Hello guys,

I want to switch from Windows 7 to Linux Manjaro. I attempted to do this once but I ended up with all my files lost (young and restless). This was because Linux Mint didn't recognise my network card so I panicked and reinstalled Windows. So, my question is... do I need to change my Network Card?

Oh, also... if I am here already... will my external NTFS HDD Seagate Expansion Drive be recognised?

    Hi there
do I need to change my Network Card?

Hmmm no. Most of the ethernet card or wifi are working on linux.

Can you boot on a live linux (with a CD or usb...) and get the result of a :
    lspci -k

NTFS HDD Seagate Expansion Drive be recognised ?

As most of the hardware, it can, can you plug it when you are on the live linux, and give the result of a :
    lsusb
