I hate the bloat ware and constant running of antivirus and malware using windows

So a friend mention to me about trying Ubuntu or Linux so here I am asking for your

Opinion.

I have a laptop not doing anything that I can use to experiment on anything y'all can help with will be greatly appreciated.
