Acoustic Echo Cancellation Support in Linux

Hello, this is my first post in this forum and I am a beginner in Linux too. I wanted to know if there is any built-in acoustic echo cancellation support in Linux. I've heard that Windows has some system AEC that developers can use for cancelling echos in their voice applications. Is there anything similar in Linux too, or do I need to use any third-party libraries for this matter?

Hi, I am not sure if there are native build-in solutions - you need to check with your distribution vendor.
Anyway, there are few third-party solutions out there. If you are in to building an AEC from open source projects then you might want to try Speex. Alternatively you can buy a commercial solution like SoliCall's Acoustic Echo Cancellation.
