Need help in un-hiding a hidden folder.

Hey guys,

Today i have been experimenting with the newly installed Linux Mint OS.

I was experimenting with hiding files and folders.

I kept a dot (.) before a file and it went hidden and when i pressed Ctrl+H it came back.

I did the same to a folder and it didn't come back when i pressed Ctrl+H.

I think there is an other way to un-hide it.

I need to know how to un-hide it or else delete it.

So,please help me with it.

If you go into Nautilus, click the menu title "View", then click "Show hidden files". You didn't say where you are looking for these hidden files, so, I'm assuming you looking in the File Manager.

If you do not want it hidden anymore you just have to remove the '.' from the front of the file name.
