installing drivers in linux ubuntu

Hi

i need to install the .inf & .sys file of drivers in linux... how can i do that ?? these drivers are currently installed in windows XP and I need to install them in Linux,ubuntu (mono) also.

any help will be highly appreciated

It is possible to install some windows based wifi drivers on Linux based systems using the ndiswrapper program, but other than those few cases no other windows based drivers would work on linux based systems. If you can tell use what hardware you are attempting to install then we can direct you to the correct way to install the drivers.

What are these drivers for ? What is your purpose. Please explain in details. Maybe we have some other way round than the way you have thought.
