Creating Website Traffic and Return traffic

I've created a basic website with a chat room and forum as well as a list of my IT services for homes and small businesses. I was wondering if anyone had some good ideas on getting return traffic once people find my site. my site is www.SimsIT.net (Currently still need a logo and phone number, so please ignore those two parts).

Any advice is appreciated, and this is the closest section to my question I could find so hope it's ok I am posting it here. I value this communities help on previous issues so thought I would ask about this as well.

The best way to get return traffic is to log everything and allow others to recommend the site. Setup a bot to log all communications on the irc channel, which can be searched from within your site and try to setup the reddit, facebook and twitter "like" and "share" buttons.

Add news and RSS feeds so subscribed users may see upgrades and they're more involved in getting news (and links) from your site
