Catching usb event.

What I want to do is waiting for a usb plug and mount the new device in a shell script.

Is there a easy mean to do that ?

It's possible with Udev and there's a brilliant guide Here detailing how to set it up. This shows you how to run external scripts/programs upon the event as opposed to simply giving the device a custom node.
