Hi all,
during SUSE 10 setup on my HP 6000 Sff machine it didn't recognize the integrated SATA DVDROM, so I connected an usb external one and installed with it.
Now I would like to use the internal one but I have no idea on how to mount it as I didn't see it anywhere in the dev folder... could be a driver issue? how can I install the correct drivers? where to look for?
To add some info...
I tried dmesg and there is no reference to any cdrom
I tried lspci and there is no reference to any cdrom
thanks
regards

What you are describing seems to mean that either there is no driver for the internal cdrom or there may be an irq conflict in the BIOS that is preventing the OS from recognizing the device.0
