Drives not mounted when booting

I have 2 disk drives that were working fine before and then after a reboot I can't access these drives anymore, I tried to manually mount the drives, I have error message 'unable to resolve host homepc'

The only thing I have done before is uninstalled samba and then I have reinstalled samba and I've redone the samba.conf file, still can't see my shared files and the drives are not being mounted when I boot the pc

Under disk utility I still see the drives, and filesystem is

installed on a partition of one of the drives and works fine but can't

access the other partition and the other drive

These drives on a local computer

can anyone help me with this? I am using Ubuntu 9.10?

what EXACTLY are you typing to mount the drives? please paste actual prompt with error etc..
