Wireless em EeePC 1000HD n√£o funciona Linux Mint 6

I'm a new Linux Mint user, and i have installed the Linux Mint 6 in a EeePC 1000HD, although not have wireless in the system, and i'm not know if the wireless card is installed or not, because in some software isrecognized and in other not.

Someone help me?

For install other distro is not possible because now the pc not recognizes boot for USB

Yes your eeePC 1000HS includes a wireless card, however based upon which model (1000HD/Linux or 1000HD/XP) the wireless card differs. Most likely if it was sold with XP on it then you will have to do to their site (http://support.asus.com/) and download the XP drivers and install them using ndiswrapper.
