gsoap 2.7 stability on Linux platform

Hello all,

We have been using gsoap 2.7.9e as a type of file server using the dimeclient.cpp and dimeserver.cpp source files.

The problem is that when we start the dimeserver functionality (ex: ./dimeserver 8025 for port 8025), it starts up fine.

Then, when it is not used to save and retrieve files, the process remains.

However, when we start using it to save and retrieve files, it also works fine - but - after a few hours, we find that the process is missing (we assumed crashed).

Has anyone else encountered this type of behavior?
