I posted a how to install slackware from a hard drive only
(without using the cd-drive or a usb stick)
This requires:
1. a linux system (it can be a live one)
2. the iso file
3. an available partition for storing the contents of the iso
and some files that will help boot a slackware live system
that will launch the installation
4. an available partition for installing the new system

That is a nice guide for installation from local files, Can you modify your guide to include how get lilo to start the installer?
I will be posting a guide to PXE (network based diskless) installation of multiple OSs and utility apps including setting up the PXE menu for each item on my blog shortly.0 -
I haven't used lilo for years and I don't have it installed on myCan you modify your guide to include how get lilo to start the installer?
system.
I suppose I could figure out the syntax for the menu entry but then I couldn't test it on my system.0
