Distro logo in ASCII at terminal on startup.

I've noticed that the Arch-heads have been doing this for a while and it's kind of become a, "If you don't know how, you never will" sort of thing.

Basically it's some sort of script that allows your terminal, on startup to display different ASCII codes via some sort of... work.

I have no idea how it's done but I know a few of you run Arch around here, so maybe you can guide us apt-getters on how to do it?

I think what Gossamer is looking for is the folder that brings up the tux picture when booting. When you boot arch, the arch symbol comes up instead of tux. Damn I found it once, now it alludes me. I'll get back when I come across it again. Unless someone remembers off hand and can help us both out. LOL, where is it, damn.

Sorry, but the file is linux_logo.h and it is compiled into the kernel. If you Google it, you'll find ways of changing the logo, but, you will have to recompile your own kernel.
