I am running Debian Aptosid on MSI motherboard A75MA-G55 series with AMD A8-3870 APU and Radeon HD 6550D graphics card.

I can boot normally with kernel 4.10x. However, with recent upgrades, the kernel 4.11x fails to boot unless I give "acpi=off" in the boot command.

With acpi=off, I cannot suspend the machine.

Can anyone explain why the kernel 4.11x need acpi=off, and how can I boot without it?
