Lab 10.2 Encrypted Swap

I am not able to get the encrypted swap working. Using either the existing swap partition, or by creating another partition....

I am using Centos 7. Has anyone got it working?

Glad to hear someone got it working.

I had no problems with lab 10.1, but 10.2 didn't work for me.

I was able to get lab 10.1 working on Centos 7, Ubuntu 16 & OpenSUSE 13.2.

But, I didn't get a chance to try lab 10.2 on Ubuntu 16 or OpenSUSE 13.2 because I was stuck trying to get it working on Centos 7.

    Hi earlpearl,

What's the exact error you are getting? What part of the exercise is failing for you?

    Regards,

    Luis.

    Hi earlpearl,

Have you configured /etc/crypttab and /etc/fstab as indicated in the lab?

    Regards,

    Luis.

  • Hi Luis

Yes, I completed all the steps, but no success.

I will investigate this at a later date. And, if I find a solution, I'll post it.

    Hi Liam,

If the lab is failing for all these three distros, it may mean that you are missing something.

    Regards,

    Luis.
