scanner for linux mint 17

Is Canoscan Lide120 compatible with my system Linux Mint 17?

If not what can you suggest.

If it is how do I install? I have turned on the unlock button on the underside and connected it via usb to my box.

You may need to install the driver of mint is not detecting it. Read this post from askubuntu.
