SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 Won't configure network cards

I installed SLES 11 on a Dell Inspirion laptop but when I go to configure the network I get this error message:

Unable to configure the network card because the kernel device (eth0, wlan0) is not present. This is mostly caused by missing firmware (for wlan devices). See dmesg output for details.

lspci shows the hardware:

Network controller [0280]: Atheros Communications Inc. AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) [168c:002b] (rev 01)

Ethernet controller [0200]: Attansic Technology Corp. Device [1969:2062] (rev c1)

The kernerl version is :

Any help solving this will be greatly appreciated
