Problems installing Ubuntu server on HP Z600

Hi,

Having difficulties installiing OS on a clean system.  I am trying to load from a USB and can not find a procedure on HP website or anywhere else.I have tried to boot from USB device without success.  Would appreciate any pointers.

    In order to boot a computer using a usb drive, the computer's BIOS must support usb booting. If it does, the boot screen will display hotkeys to press to enable certain configurations or other options for booting. 

    I don't know the year or platform type of your HP. However, most computers allow you to enter into the "booting" screen by either pressing f9, "esc", "del" or "f10". You might need to enable usb booting from the bios by going into your bios setup screen. Usually these is achieved by pressing "esc" or "del".
