ONLYOFFICE developers opened the source code of the Desktop Editors - the office suite for viewing and editing text documents, spreadsheets, and presentations without the Internet connection. ONLYOFFICE is a worthy replacement for LibreOffice and OpenOffice being free for both personal and commercial use.

Key features:

  • ONLYOFFICE provides excellent formatting and 100% compatibility with MS Office document formats and supports other popular formats, including ODF.

  • Collaboration capabilities. In online mode, ONLYOFFICE provides the opportunity to share and co-edit documents.

  • Plug-in support. Get ready-to-use plug-ins to create templates, add ClipArt, insert videos from YouTube or append any feature you need to the editor creating your own plug-in.

Download it from the official website.

The office suite is available under AGPL license v3. The source code can be found on GitHub.
