How fast is a Dynamic VPN?

I'm looking into paying for a Dynamic VPN, I'm just learning about it really.



My question is, are VPN's going to access the internet slower than if I didn't have one?



I want to get a VPN to download stuff anonymously, but I don't want to have internet that is slow as molasses, if you know what I mean.

It's depending on VPN service only.

If their servers or data links are not overloaded you should have the same speed as with your main internet access.

But some websites can limit it's upload speed for known VPN hosts, but it mostly related to Tor gateways.

Look for the feedbacks about your VPN provider first.
