Lab 11.2 Ingress Controller confusion
In Lab 11.2 Ingress Controller :
I am a bit confused ....
In section ...
_Exercise 11.2: Ingress Controller
We will use the Helm tool we learned about earlier to install an ingress controller.
- Create two deployments in default namespace, web-one and web-two, each one running nginx. Expose both as ClusterIP services. Use previous content to determine the steps if you are unfamiliar. Test that both ClusterIPs work before continuing to the next step.
_
What previous content should I be looking at? I assumed :
Lab 10.1. Deploy a New Service
This Lab instructs us to deploy "two" nginx servers, "nginx-one" is deployed with 2 replicas. However, If I need two deployments of nginx , web-one and web-two, as it states in Exercise 11.2: Ingress Controller, isn't that two yaml files with different names .... each deploying with two replicas ?
I am guessing the for the "ingress.yaml" .... meta name: would be "ingress-test" ,, with web-one and web-two falling under "service" in their respective files ?
Sorry if this sounds confusing.

Hi @Todd Gill,
The author meant for the learner to look at earlier content (any, throughout the lab guide) to derive the necessary instructions for the completion of step 1: to launch the 2 deployments and their respective services.

Got it .. I went back to Lab 3.4 ... Deploy a Simple Application .... (Nginx).
Thank you.
