How do I save MSG emails as PDF without losing formatting?

Formatting loss usually happens when MSG emails are opened with the wrong app or saved one by one through an unsupported method. HTML content, links, dates and attachments may not appear properly in the final PDF.

One option that worked well for this task is Datavare MSG to PDF Converter Expert, built for exporting Outlook MSG emails into PDF while keeping important email parts such as body text, hyperlinks, date, time and attachments. It works without Outlook or Adobe Reader, so the process is easier when many MSG files need to be saved in PDF format.

For a small number of emails, you can also open them in Outlook and save or print them as PDF but check the layout before using those files. Always test a few MSG emails first and compare the PDF output with the original message before converting the full folder.
