Welcome to the Linux Foundation Forum!

I have my CKA exam in 4 days, but I am medically unfit after Dental surgery. How to contact support?

Hi,

I have my CKA exam coming up in 4 days and I am unfortunately medically unfit to prepare or sit the exam. I recently underwent dental surgery due to acute pain and have been on pain medication since, making it impossible to study or focus.

I have already raised a support ticket (TCCS-174357) at trainingsupport.linuxfoundation.org to request a reschedule, but given how close the exam date is, I wanted to check here as well — can anyone confirm this is the correct channel for exam reschedule requests? (I cannot reschedule from portal anymore as I registered for the exam last year same day)

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Hi @bbnnaz ,

Yes, the correct action is to open a ticket with the Linux Foundation Customer Support team at trainingsupport.linuxfoundation.org. That team will be able to assist you. Response times can take several business days depending on volume, but someone from that team will be in touch.

We wish you a speedy recovery.

    Kind Regards,

    Hello @arianehamm ,

Thank you so much for your response — I truly appreciate it.

My exam is scheduled in 2 days and 10 hours, which means I effectively have only 2 business days remaining. Given the time constraint, do you know if its possible to escalate this ticket?

I'm currently managing a medical situation that requires me to take pain medication every 8 hours just to stay focused enough to prepare. If support is able to reschedule my exam, it would allow me to reduce my medication and get some much-needed rest beforehand.
