Hello everyone new here, but not new to tech. My background in tech began as an IT technician with AT&T, then student worker as a network support, and I currently work for school district as an IT help desk technician. I currently have my Comptia A+ and Google IT Support certification, currently going for my Net+ then Sec+ after, looking forward to this class.

    My name is Daniel Morris. I hold a DoD Secret Clearance and several industry-recognized certifications, including CompTIA Security+, CySA+, and Cloud+. I have worked in the Department of Defense industry for about ten years, primarily in help desk and technical support roles. I am currently taking a break from work while focusing on expanding my skills, including Linux, to prepare for the next step in my career.
    My goal is to transition into a remote, work-from-home position that allows me to continue contributing to mission-focused technology teams while maintaining a balanced and flexible work environment.

    Hi everyone. My name is Ismail. I'm a BA for the State of New York. I'd first heard about Linux in the late 90s, but I'm only just now committing to developing a real skill set in Linux. I'm aiming to learn cloud engineering afterwards, so that's the main reason I'm here now. After finishing this course, I might try to get a remote sys admin gig while I work on learning cloud.
