How do I divide one big vCard file into individual contacts?

I exported my entire contact list into a single vCard file, but I want each contact saved as a separate file. I tried online tools, but they messed up the format or lost details. Can anyone suggest a tool that actually works and keeps all contact info intact?

  • I found GainTools Split vCard Software super helpful for this exact task. It can divide VCF file into multiple smaller vCards easily and without losing any contact information. It’s much better than online splitters because it keeps everything clean and accurate. This vCard splitter works on all Windows versions (2.1, 3.0, 4.0). I used it to split 2000+ contacts and all files saved correctly. A great solution for anyone who wants properly organized contact files.

If you’re looking for a tool that actually works and keeps all contact info intact, I’d like to recommend BitRecover vCard Converter — here’s why it might be the solution you need:
