How do I convert a CSV contacts file from Ubuntu into VCF format?

I exported my contacts from the Ubuntu mail client as a CSV file. Now I need them as VCF to import into another app. What is the most straightforward way to do this on a Windows PC?

If you have exported your contacts from Ubuntu as a CSV file, the easiest way to convert them into VCF format is by using WholeClear CSV to VCF Converter. It works offline and it is simple to use and does not require any technical setup. Just launch the tool, load your Ubuntu CSV file and preview the contacts. Then map each column — like name, phone, and email — to the correct vCard fields and export the file. In a few clicks, you’ll have a VCF file with all your contact details intact , ready to be imported into Android, iPhone, iCloud or any app that supports vCard.
