JSNSD will no longer be available?

Hello,

I've noticed that both JSNSD (https://training.linuxfoundation.org/certification/jsnad/) and JSNSD (https://training.linuxfoundation.org/certification/jsnsd/) in their respective pages state that the certification(s) will no longer be available after September 30, 2025.

I see that the training bundles are still being sold, so I need some clarifications in regards to certifications:
1) Will certification(s) be removed completely or changed with something else?
2) If they are removed, how about the certifications we already have, do they expire still? 3) If these certifications will be changed to something else, any date for that (and related training updates) ?

I have not seen any other information about those certifications updates apart those pages, so I would like to know more.

    Hi @aurimaszedelis

    The certifications are being discontinued. If you are currently certified, your certification will expire according to its original validity. There are no plans at the moment for new certifications in this area. If that changes, we will make it publicly known.

    The bundles are no longer being sold either. If you attempt to purchase them, your cart will be empty.

    If the Foundation does consider replacing the certifications or launching a new credential in the future, will there be a community consultation or early feedback opportunity to help shape it?

    Exams are created in coordination with the project behind the exam and representative community members. The training side is not familiar with the exact process.
