Content about Sidecar Containers must be updated
I'm using the latest LFD259-labs_V2025-02-11.pdf and AFAICS it still defines sidecar containers as additional application containers under containers: in a pod manifest. However, since Kubernetes v1.29 sidecars are defined as init containers with restartPolicy: Always.
This might create confusion if an exam question asks to add a sidecar container to a pod manifest, and provides no clarification if it refers to the old or the new definition, so my answer might be rejected by the exam system.

Hi @PetroKazmirchuk,
You are correct, the SidecarContainer feature introduced in v1.28, it is now stable in v1.33. However, it is not explicitly defined as a recommended replacement of the traditional sidecar definition model, but a solution to address the traditional definition model's limitations.
A scenario may or may not explicitly asks for a particular launch method or definition model, whether it's the case of SidecarContainer or any other feature. To find out what should be the preferred SidecarContainer definition method during an upcoming certification exam, please open a ticket with the Linux Foundation Customer Support team at trainingsupport.linuxfoundation.org for clarification. Keep in mind that response is not immediate, as response time can take up to several business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
Regards,
