Unable to take the exam as the system requirement failed with strange error in psi browser

My CKAD exam is scheduled on 25th March 2025 in Macbook 13 pro but unable to take the exam as the system requirement failed saying screensharingsubscriber is open. I couldn't find the app to close or exit. I tried ps -ef and kill whatever screensharing it shows but still the error persist. I contacted support executive of PSI but unable to resolve. I followed all the steps provided by support team but didn’t work. The issue still persist. I raised ticket TCCS-136117 and waiting for rescheduling the exam. Please tell me how long it takes for resolution. I need to close this exam before March end.

It is really unfortunate, that the LF support cannot answer this. Noone seems to be responsible for all the technical issues people are facing.

I ran into a very similar issue twice with the ScreenShareSubscriber and the sidecarRelay before a test. The first time the issue somehow (magically) disappeared and the second time I finally seem to have found the solution in a reddit Thread: I also have a macbook m1 13 AND an Ipad. They are both connected to my wifi and can share a screen. I needed to turn off the Ipad before I could kill the sidecarRelay service. I was able to verify the same behaviour / solution with another test I had scheduled with PSI.

Here is the Reddit Thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/MacOS/comments/1gfx52l/how_can_i_disable_the_sidecarrelay_service/

    Hope this helps.
