Options for sending emails to maintainers

I am applying for the Linux mentorship program. For sharing proof (without patches), should I use the regular email method instead of git send-email?

  • I had the same doubt, but I thought it would be strange to send a patch with kernel panic for review. That's why I sent it the regular email method. But I'm not 100% sure which way is the correct one. If no one answers us, I recommend sending it the regular email method.

  • Sorry for the last answer, I didn't read the question properly haha. I think tasks that aren't patches can be sent the normal way of sending an email. But I think it's good to use git send-email to get used to it.
