Lab 3.1

Hello,

I am trying to meet lab 3.1's criteria. My server returns data when a GET request made to the '/' route but it seems returned value doesn't match with testing criteria in validation.

I put a console.log line in validate.js.

This is the output:

Any idea what is wrong?

I couldn't reproduce your issue. Perhaps you have changed something else as well.

Also I noticed that you use async function as middleware, which is not recommended in express.

Thanks for your answer.

I think there is a problem with validations working in the Windows environment or there is a problem with my setup. Strangely, the validation script worked fine on Ubuntu, and the same goes for the Chapter 5 lab.

I am continuing the course with an Ubuntu OS.

you may have had another server listening on the same port
