Is it required to CC patch emails to Linux-kernel-mentees?

There are Documentation task and Kselftest task in the task list where we can earn extra credit by submitting patches.

The description in the task list only requested to send the patch to skhan@linuxfoundation.org.

But when I re-read wiki.linuxfoundation.org/lkmp today, I found it mentioned that contributions should also be CC to Linux-kernel-mentees.

'Please cc your overall program mentor Shuah Khan, project mentor(s), and Linux Kernel Mentees Archive on all your contributions.'

Actually I have sent the patch to skhan@linuxfoundation.org last week and I would like to ask if I need to send additional patch emails to linux-kernel-mentees@lists.linuxfoundation.org now?
