How do I open a second terminal on the CLI interface on Ubuntu Server 20.04

    Hi @chrltokes39,

    The course assumes a remote login from your workstation to a VM running Ubuntu Server. Right click anywhere in the text area of your existing terminal window, and from the menu box select "New Window" or "New Tab" as desired. The login process should be the same as the initial login from the first terminal instance.

    If running the lab directly on the Ubuntu Server VM, there should be a way to achieve this with the Ctrl + Alt + F3 combination to get to tty3, Ctrl + Alt + F4 for tty4, and so on. However, returning to the first tty seems a bit unclear from various posts whether Alt + F1 or Alt + F2 combination is required.

    I'd recommend reading up on this topic before attempting this safely :wink:
