Apologies for reviving this old thread, but your post caught my attention and I’d like to share my thoughts. One option is to use a virtual machine or emulator to run a Linux operating system on your Windows 10 machine. Another option is to use a compatibility layer like Wine, which allows you to run Linux programs on Windows. Another option to consider is researching reliable communities where you can find a legit windows key to ensure the quality functioning of all applications. Plus, using a community-driven approach can provide you with valuable insights and recommendations from other users who have had success with their own installations.

    1) Wine does not run Linux on Windows. It runs some Windows on Linux.
    2) If the OP (in 2019, 5 years ago) was running Windows 10, why would they need a Windows key now?
    3) No mention of dual booting?
