Intel Xeon 5150
Hi there,
I'm running out of looking for an issue I have.
I have a GNU/Linux Debian 9 install on a Mac Pro 2,1 with two Intel Xeon 5150 @ 2.66 GHz, 32GB of RAM and plenty of GB hard drives.
Since this version is out of security update I tried to update this machine and soon I left Linux 4.9.0-17-amd64 x86_64 to Linux 5.10.0-10-amd64 x86_64 performance of the machine is decreased.

Not sure you can have access to this link but you multicore performance less than 2000%, yes I really wrote two thousand percent.
So I'm afraid to heard that those CPU are not anymore working on Linux (I tried multiple distributions), really sad..
Shall I upgrade to two Intel Xeon X5365 3.0GHz/8M/1333 Processors?
Any clue to help me?
Many thanks,
Paul

Moving this from Red Hat Enterprises to Debian.
Have you asked:

Hi arochester,
Thanks you for moving this to another place but not sure it is the good one.
It is not related to Debian but Kernel itself and I could see now all the categories on the right side
Since both processors are enterprise level I was oriented here from someone who told me this community is very large and not focussed on only one distribution, since it is the case of my issue

I didn't find any information on Debian sites...
Best,
Paul0
