ATI Radeon 4200 HD

Hey there, could you tell me what driver should I install and how to enable 3d mode? My graphic card is intergrated with ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO motherboard, I am using Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala :)

I had to change my card back to my NVidia 880GTS. Seems Linux isn't as friendly when it comes to ATI cards....or I guess it would be the other way around...darn ATI...

I only use Nvidia. By the time ATI gets its Catalyst drivers running with one kernel, a new kernel comes out and they are behind once again. Nvidia always seems to have a working blob to install. Although I've seen some success with 3D and ATI using experimental mesa drivers on Fedora. I may just get an ATI card with my next build just to experiment with the new mesa driver. Eventually we will have a great Open Source ATI driver, it just hasn't happened yet.
