Wget link credentials do work. Please pay attention to the note below the command - if you copy/paste the command, the underscores in it may disappear and be replaced by spaces, thus causing the failure, so you may need to edit it manually.

You can also retrieve the resources by following the instructions available in the introductory chapter, on the Course Resources page.
