Hi Team,

I am very new to this IT field and it may possible that this question may seem very silly.
I am just curious to know that what are the minimum Hardware Requirement to create a linux server as FTP server for maximum 500-1000 concurrent connections.

It will be a great help for me.

    You shouldn't need much in the way of resources. As far as bandwidth, that's going to be up to you...how fast do you want them to go? You could make this work on 1MB or you could make this work on 1GB, it just depends how fast you want it to complete.

    You don't mention your retention requirements; that will affect what you do for disk space.
