Is there any special reason about why Fabric does not use merkle tree?

    Hello,
Fabric does use a Merkle Tree Structure in storing blocks. The information on how Fabric compacts and links its blocks can be found in the beginner course LFS170. Keep up the good work!

@Bobbijn thanks for the reply. It seems like the content in course LFS170 for Fabric referring to version before v1.0. Fabric v0.6 employs a Merkle Bucket Tree but dropped in v1.0. Is there any document/material mention about merkle tree structure in block for Fabric v2.0 and above which i can refer to?

Here is a link to the The Fabric documentation that mentions merkle trees: https://hyperledger-fabric.readthedocs.io/en/latest/config_update.html?highlight=merkle. Hope this helps.
