Laptop Screen Issue - Any ideas how to fix?

Hello everyone,,

I have the exact same laptop and same issue as above. It was just in the bottom right corner of the laptop earlier, so I ignored it, but now it has gotten worse and looks very similar to what is in the picture. Is this screen burn in, or some other defect? Would I be able to solve it by running a video of static continuously for a few days, or is replacing the screen the only way to get rid of this ?
