Practice Environment for Practice Exams?

In looking at the on line documentation it looks like there is some sort of a virtual environment provided for the exam. I was wondering if we can practice in that environment to prepare for the test. I am not sure what is available there. For example, I don't know if your virtual environment provides external DNS that makes it unnecessary to set the hosts files. It would also be helpful to have a least one practice exam (maybe a retired version?) that we could work through before doing the real one.
