    Hi @bulentozlem ,

    Many years ago I used Linux From Scratch. It might be a bit complicated, but it's useful in terms of learning: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/ .

    I haven't used Yocto, but it's a well known way as well:

    Also there are more ways to achieve it now a days, but I haven't tried them.

    Linux from scratch is indeed still active and maintained.

    If you want to do something which is not quite by scratch, but you have to boostrap up from a small stage 1, consider Gentoo, where you have to recompile everything from scratch. Installing and setting up is not easy but if you master it you'll know quite a bit :)
