Section 3 Quiz - Question 3.1

Hello All!

I believe that I may be misinterpreting the first question in the quiz at the end of section 3.
It asks which tools will alter the Layer 2 configuration of an adapter, but says only "ip" is the correct answer. However, the "Layer 2: Configuration" subsection contains examples such as setting the MTU with ifconfig and setting the adapter's link speed with ethtool.

Given that those answers are marked as incorrect in the results (I am attaching a screenshot for clarity), I am now confused as to why the answer is what it is.

Could someone please assist me with understanding why ifconfig and ethtool are not acceptable answers to this question in the practice quiz? I would like to understand this before going into the exam if possible.
