Hello all! I'm Jay. I worked in IT 20 years ago for a few years, and now I'm attempting a comeback of sorts. I have dabbled with GNU/Linux for a long time, but this is a serious investment of time and money. In the past couple of months, I have done a few courses on Udemy, and now I'm here for a bit more rigorous training and the certification as well. I'm sure I'm not alone in having some extra time on my hands in these Corona times. I look forward to working with you all.

    Hi Jay, welcome to the forum! Now that you mention you worked on Linux 'some' time ago, some important things have changed. But the basic stuff (basic commands and 'everything is a file') keeps the same.
