can not go to last to where I left off in the course

when I log in to the course I am prompted to return to the point where I left off.

however I only come to an empty page

and then (after reloading Firefox) I come to the startpage and have to click forward one page by one. Can anyone advise how do overcome this?

I am on a debian 9 computer, using firefox-esr/oldstable,now 68.7.0esr-1~deb9u1 amd64 [installed,automatic].

You could try clearing your browser's cache. That helped in the past with similar issues.

Please try clearing your cache.

Also, in the lower left corner you can find table of contents for easier navigation.
