I've Been Thinking About Creating a FOSS alternative to MacOS and OSX

The fact that Replicant was made and, in some ways, is giving Google a run for their money, goes to show that the same can be done with MacOS. It definitely beats having to shit out money you don't have for a device that's going to abandoned shortly afterward, as well as a multitude of other reasons. If anyone can get MacOS running and reverse-engineered, I'd like to have you on board with this project.

  • Isn't this what Hackintosh is all about? You might start there, but beware that they guard that space very carefully.

  • Can the 8GB IPOD OS be replaced with a Linux based OS?
