New, looking for pro tips :D

I just introduced myself (and my Mac) to Linux. The 'distro' I picked was Kali, which is a little more complex than I expected, but it looks like it can be a lot of FUN! My plan is to start out crushing this Linux intro course, then apply that knowledge in the Kali course (by offensive security), and ultimately figure out where the real FUN is! If you have any tips, links, suggestions, or righteous wisdom that will help me on my journey; I thank you in advance.
