My GCP account has always had a project named WHI-SelfServ.  It seems to be the default login account, but I can't find any explanation or documentation of what it is.

Can the WHI-SelfServ project be used to deploy clusters, or should I create a separate project for that?

Hi, I think GCP will create a default project for you once you create your account. You can use the default project to create your Ubuntu VMs for these labs, or you can create another project, name it something meaningful to you, and spin up your VMs in it. You can define multiple projects under your account, and you can always switch between them once you log-in.

I created another project and named is lfs258-k8s-administration to keep these VMs and labs separate from other projects I have in my GCP account.

    Good luck!
