What's the plan for the CKDA

I noticed that on the list of certifications there's a Certified Kubernetes Application Developer - CKAD. I tried to apply for the certification, but I got an error.

I just passed the CKA and the exam is at least 70% relevant for the CKDA.

The rest could be completed with more tests around Ingress and service discovery (i.e. services with NodePort).

Is there any plan for releasing such certification?

Congratulations on passing the CKA exam! The Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) exam is in development now and should be available in the second quarter of 2018. The Domains covered in the CKAD exam will be posted on https://www.cncf.io/ within the next week or two. Thanks for your interest!
