Hello, i am new to linux and i have a question regarding vpn.

We have an existing linux vpn server which is not managed by me.

We have remote linux servers in the field which all call out to this vpn server to establish a connection.

I need to build a replacement, but i am not sure how?

What linux OS is better for vpn? How can i build a vpn server and how can i establish in the remote devices to call our to this vpn.

The goal is to get off of the original old linux server which i do not have access to.

    I have just purchased a server for home use and it has no operating system.

    I wish that there was a "If you want to start a Linux server from scratch click here" button somewhere on this site.
    Let me know if you find one?
